Forstern is located approx. 15 km south of the district town of Erding, approx. 12 km north of Ebersberg and approx. 20 km southwest of Dorfen. Via the A94 highway (Munich-Passau) you can reach the state capital and the Bavarian Alpine foothills in about 30 minutes by car. The S-Bahn station in Markt Schwaben is approx. 8 minutes away by car. There is also a very good bus connection. The airport and the new trade fair center in Munich can be reached quickly. The community offers good shopping facilities, pharmacies, doctors, kindergartens and schools.
