Information on equipment
There is an alcove on the glazed first floor (menu on display) that can be beautifully decorated before you climb the stairs. A lockable scissor gate is installed there to prevent break-ins.
On the first floor there is a large dining room with 60 seats, including a raised alcove and a side room with 10 seats. As you go upstairs, you come across a bar with a counter and cooling facilities. Retractable electric awnings - all functional - can shade the windows all around. In the rear area is the large kitchen - currently with a gas stove and new ventilation system as well as a storeroom (30 m2 in total). There is also a staff room with a window and a shower/toilet for the staff next door. Of course there is a large guest/toilet facility (men 3 x urinal and toilet, ladies 3 x toilet). Two doors lead to the building's non-public stairwell with passenger elevator. An exclusive material elevator - only for the restaurant - connects the kitchen wing with the cellar in the basement. There is a 20m2 lockable storage room and a 10m2 drinks cold room. The elevator also leads directly to the rear courtyard - important for waste disposal. There are bicycle parking spaces, possibly also for motorcycles/mopeds. The rear courtyard serves as an access road for suppliers and must not be permanently parked. The cleaning of the grease trap in the courtyard is organized by the landlord for a fee. The restaurant is not tied to a brewery. There are no charges due - except in the case of desired new installations.
Location
A pearl in the Bohnenviertel: Following the demolition of the Breuninger parking lot, a new attractive district with plenty of footfall is currently being created on the edge of Stuttgart's Bohnenviertel opposite the Breuninger department store - comparable to the nearby Dorotheenquartier. Now is the right time to position yourself here in a perfect city center location. On the corner of Esslinger Strasse and Wagner Strasse, we find the former "Takeshiis" restaurant - in Vietnamese hands for 20 years and in the past one of the favorite restaurants of the Minister President of Baden-Württemberg. Charlottenplatz, an important public transportation hub in Stuttgart, is just a three-minute walk away. As is the "Rathaus" train stop. Opposite is the new Stuttgart Filmhaus with a "Mobilty-Hub", a center for environmentally friendly transport in the state capital with parking spaces, e-filling stations, car-sharing and rental bikes.
