The castle overlooks the extensive landscape and sculpture park. The path system that runs around the park takes you directly on foot through the Pötenitz nature reserve and the coastal landscape between Priwall and Barendorf with Harkenbäkniederung to the tranquil beaches of the Baltic Sea.
The extensive orchard of the estate can be found on the green areas to the side of the driveway to the castle building. The old greenhouse has been rebuilt in the middle of the orchards. Fresh herbs, salads, microgreens and mushrooms are grown here for the residents to use. Of course, the fruit harvest is also available to the community.
The facility is maintained by the neighboring horticultural company. The greenhouse is managed separately. Anyone who enjoys gardening is cordially invited to work here and possibly help develop the idea of a community garden.
