📄 Required Documents for a Fast Rental Process
We aim to make the rental process as smooth as possible. To quickly process your application, we require the following documents:

🇩🇪 For German Tenants / Deutsche Mietineressenten:
✅ Passport copy
✅ Proof of income: last 3 payslips or salary statements or
a certificate from the employer or
✅ for self-employed persons, the most recent tax assessment notices
✅ Current information from Schufa Holding AG
✅ Confirmation of rent payment / rent debt-free certificate from the tenant - (see above)

If you have no or insufficient income, please provide a guarantor (see documents for guarantor below):
✅ Certificate of no rent arrears Certificate from the previous tenant that there are no rent arrears (see attachment)
✅ The following documents must be submitted with a guarantee:
✅ Copy of the guarantor's identity card
✅ Guarantee (will be provided)
✅ 3 most recent proofs of income of the guarantor (see above)
✅ SCHUFA credit report of the guarantor (see above)

🌍 🌎 For International Students and Workers:
✅ Required documents
✅ Identity card or passport (front and back) of the signatory or residence incl. VISA (if necessary)
✅ Proof on income (payslips or work contract) OR Guarantor declaration incl. documents (see below) OR upfront rent payment (to be discussed indivudally)

Additional documents for students:
✅ Current certificate of enrollment / alternatively certificate of admission to university, technical college, college of applied sciences, or similar

Additional documents for trainees / interns:
✅ Training certificate / internship certificate

Additional documents for young professionals:
✅ Last two payslips (if no payslips are available yet: employment contract

Can you provide a gurantor?
You improve your chances to rent an apartment significanlty if you will be able to present a guarantor who lives and works in Germany. Please note the documents required for the guarantor.

The following documents must be submitted for a guarantor:
✅ A copy of the guarantor's ID card
✅ Guarantor declaration (see attachment)
✅ The guarantor's last 3 proof of income
✅ The guarantor's SCHUFA credit report
