Atter is surrounded by unique recreational areas that are important for tourism in the region. You can camp at the Attersee lake, take off on a sightseeing flight at the Atterheide airfield, go for a walk around the Leye estate, go horse riding, play tennis and much more. Lake Attersee is located in the north-west of Atter, on the border with Lotte.
