The house has been regularly renovated and modernized, including replacement of both front doors in 2011, installation of triple-glazed windows in 2013 (to keep out traffic), some with shutters or automatic sun protection on the south side, installation of underfloor heating in the ground floor bathroom and renovation and enlargement of the terrace in 2015. Most recently, the interior doors and floors were replaced with cork in 3 rooms on the upper floor.
The front door leads into a bright hallway with a checkroom and then into the hallway, which features an impressive marble floor. The residential area is centrally located, close to the town center. Bus and train, doctors, pharmacies, kindergartens, schools, cozy restaurants and several supermarkets are also not far away.
There are good transport connections to the nearest towns. The B104 (Schwerin-Neubrandenburg) and B194 (Waren-Stralsund) intersect in Stavenhagen. The towns of Waren (Müritz) and Neubrandenburg can be reached in approx. 30 minutes by car.
Rostock/Warnemünde with its Baltic Sea beaches can be reached in approx. 1 1/2 hours.
