Remscheid: A city combines tradition and innovation

"Seestadt auf dem Berge" is the name given to the district-free city of Remscheid in the Bergisches Land region - referring to its long tradition as the headquarters of world-renowned metal and tool manufacturers. With a population of just over 109,000, the smallest major city in North Rhine-Westphalia is located near the two larger cities of Solingen and Wuppertal, close to the A1 autobahn.
